Podiatrists are allied health professionals and normally spend four years at university to obtain their degree. They study anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and pathology of the whole body, and then in the final 2 years they specialise in learning about and treating conditions of the lower limbs. Did you know that a single foot has 26 bones, 33 joints and more than 100 muscles, tendons and ligaments that attach to it. This positions podiatrists as the foot health experts when it comes to foot pain and foot problems that can develop.

At Sure Step Podiatry why we do what we do, and why we are podiatrists is to “help people to live their best life possible”. We do this by helping treat people’s foot pain so they can achieve what they want in life in order to live their best life. This is such a privilege and it is amazing to see our patients achieve their goals and reach their full potential. We love our job!
